In the designer scope, every color has a mean. It also can be a characteristic of the company / enterprise. Basic on the type, color has a 3 profile you have to know, there are:

CMYK

As you see on your screen, CMYK means Cyan - Magenta - Yellow - Key (Black). Simple to understand it, make sure your profile color is CMYK to use on printer (printable document). Some designers said CMYK is a color profile optimized for printer, to minimize unmatched color result.

RGB

Red - Green - Blue, it was a general color profile. Almost design software set this color profile as their default startup. Choose RGB for your non-printed document.

RED
Red means hot / warning / aggresive / spirit / burn / communicative / ambission / angry.

BLUE
