How to Design a Good Logo

Do you know what the "Good Logo" is ?

Good Logo is a logo that can sign a company / enterprise with clear and directly eyecatching. Almost every designer that i known was not understand to this thing. Here a powerful tips to make your customer get satisfied to your own work.

Before you get started, you have to prepare these important question to your clients and you need to completely understand.

What is your company? (In this point, you can imagine that logo will be, for example your clients need a logo for their educational company.)
What is your target market? (In this point you can adjust the color. For the example, if the target is the children you have to make it bright or colorful. Ill write more about good color in design in another article)
Do you have any spesific color? (In this point you should show your respect to your clients to ask him for his want)
What type do you want in your logo? (In this point, the answer should typograpy / logo only / or the both of them)

After you understand the 4 things, see my own tips to start your projects. Here are some tips to create a logo.

Create an unique and simple shape concept. (simple is a basic of a logo creation, dont make it involute. In this point, you need a few training.)
Make it meaningful. (dont tell me if you want to create a haphazardly logo! at least you have to arrange the means when you done with it.)
Dont use any gradient effect. (it may be a bad result, if your logo doesnt have a unique shape, it will difficult to be familiar)
Use your own font, at least use that has a commercial license use. (in this case, every work, every art has a law and copyright)
Dont use to much color. (people will lose their focus on your logo. try to just use 2 color, 3 for maximum if necessary. except you have an unique design, so with or without color, people still be familiar with it.)
Always based on vector. (it can resize smaller or larger without losing the quality. Use CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator)
